Things are moving pretty fast, and we’ve been focusing on goals we’d like to achieve in the program, as well as after we graduate. I’m still leaning towards trying to find a graduate program vs going back into the job market, but things can change. That somehow seems distant and fast approaching at the same time.
One of the things that we are supposed to be thinking about is our capstone projects. After watching a few presentations from past years, the scope of most projects was just about what I expected.
A few things I’m considering working on:
* Hosting a local media server with a deployed service to allow streaming over the internet
* Make an app or service that will allow me to control various things in my home (lights, irrigation for plants, other things)
* Something with drones
I think that by the time I get closer to starting work, I have a lot better idea of what I’m going to do.
