The second to last week of our first class. We are trying to get the final research video done, and we are all getting ready to record our individual sections and edit them together. The process has been pretty smooth so far, hopefully that holds true for the last few days. There isn’t much I would do next time for a similar project except try to start earlier and be more organized.
Most of the material we read this week focused on presenting publicly. Sometimes this comes in the form of a speech or a slideshow, but it’s an important skill to have. A lot of what we read talked about what not to do and how to be an effective presenter. Most of what I read was stuff that I already use and agree with, but it’s good to review these kinds of things from time to time if only to confirm knowledge.
