This was the last week of CST 300 and it went by fast. The last 8 weeks gave us a good idea of what the next 92 will be like. I honestly liked all the writing we did, and I think I’ll find a way to keep up with it.
One of the final topics of CST300 was about public presentation. Our final project was to make a video about a topic as a group.
Some examples of our class’s final videos:
These groups covered the topic of social media and its addictive aspects. The presentation clearly discusses the various ways in which social media negatively affects mental health. The research quality seems fine and the video OK visually, but the audio could be better. Audio is probably the hardest part of a video to get right and also the most important.
This next video is about predictive modeling and how data can be used to predict an outcome. This group did a better job with their audio production, but the volume levels between individuals was not normalized. This is one of the hard parts about filming and cutting video clips together remotely. I know it was tedious for me to get the audio to sound decent on my group’s video.
