  1. A view is similar to a virtual table, which is the result of an SQL query that is saved in the database. A table is actual data that is stored in memory and can have data created, updated, or deleted from it.
  2. SQL is similar to programming languages like Java in the sense that it has logical operators and a sort of ‘control flow’ which allows users to perform complex operations. SQL is not a programming language however, it is a querying language. Unlike programming languages, which can also be used to manipulate data, SQL is intended to be used with a relational database.
