This marks the first week of our class on operating systems, and my last week of jury duty. I might end up making another post about that later, but suffice to say sitting on a murder trial was not the way I wanted to spend the last month.
In this class we’ll be using C for some of the assignments, and I’m looking forward to it. I feel like its a good thing to learn and I hope I can apply it to whatever we end up doing with linux.
I’ve used linux based computers before, and also done some shell scripting, so I’m hoping that whatever we cover will help me expand on what I already know. In 8 weeks I’ll come back to this post and evaluate where I started and what I learned!
