Capstone – Week 1

This week I spent most of my time setting up a server. I decided to use a handful of raspberry pi 4 boards to host the various services that will be needed for my project. Eventually, I may decide to run everything as a kubernetes cluster, and I’ve written a few scripts to assist controlling the cluster nodes from a central node.

The next thing I need to do is set up all the necessary background services. After the media hosting and video playback services are functional and configured, I should be able to start work on the core app.

Currently, my biggest challenge is getting everything to work together. I have a few networking issues to solve before moving on but the most difficult parts of that venture are behind me (I think).
